In this course presented by Dr. Natasha Ramsey, pediatrician and adolescent medicine specialist and founder and CEO Gorjus Sex Ed, participants will review menstruation basics, problems, management of the menstrual cycle as well as the concept of menstrual equity and ways to support youth in school settings and beyond. Participants will explore resources on the phases of the menstrual cycle and information regarding warning signs and when youth should seek help. Participants will walk away with increased awareness regarding the intricacies of the menstrual cycle, challenges youth may face regarding menstruation, ways to support them and new tools and resources to provide youth.
